Matthew's Picks

These are a few of Matthew’s Favorites:

Errazuriz Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc
“A few years ago you could have ask me if I liked dessert wines and I would have pooh poohed you, now, I can’t get enough of them.” Frankly Matthew didn’t know what he was missing out on and wants you to try Errazuriz. Errazuriz is a late harvest sauvignon blanc from the Casablanca Valley of Chile.  This wine has a bright yellow color and an intense nose of peach, honey, and lemon/lime. As you sip you will pick up a light sweetness of orange, balanced grass and peach. This wine finishes long and the flavor is so ripe a little goes a long way.

Pyramid Hefeweizen
“The Pyramid Hefe is the original unfiltered wheat beer and destroys the imitations from Leines, Summit, and Boulevard. It is awesome.” This hefeweizen has a distinct Bavarian aroma and is super smooth and refreshing. Perfect for the hot days of summer or spicy foods.

Calendé Reposado Tequila
Calendé is a great new libation to Princeton’s. It is the perfect all around tequila, great for shots, perfect for margaritas, and surprisingly nice as sipping tequila.  “This tequila has a nice sweetness to it. It combines a bit of oak flavor from your typical anejos and some of the grassy flavors of your blancos, I really liked it.” This tequila is a perfect step up and alternative to Jose Cuervo; unlike Jose this tequila also tastes well for sipping.
